We are in a day and time when the Church, the Body of Christ, needs to step up and take it's rightful place. But many of us are seemingly afraid to do what God has called us to do lest we be ostracized by friends and even family at times. Many believers are beginning to forget what we as followers of Christ really are: we are His ambassadors. 2 Corinthians 5:19, 20 say, "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." An ambassador is a diplomatic official of the highest rank, sent by one sovereign or state to another as its resident representative. We have been sent to the Earth by God to give a message of how men and women can be reconciled to God through Christ. God's kingdom is the highest kingdom, so we represent the highest authority in the universe! Believers in Christ, let us not be afraid to take our rightful place as true leaders for God in this earth, while we are here. God's will is done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matt. 6:10), when we answer God's call faithfully and seek His kingdom (His rulership and authority, which He wants to have in our hearts) first and His righteousness, realizing that all other things we need will be added unto us (Matt. 6:33). Remain encouraged as you seek to understand how God wants to use you!
