You will not go through life unhindered. There is no growth without resistance. What would cause a man to lift weights to the point of exhaustion, where he cannot lift the weight again? Growth. Resistance training is a form of strength training in which each effort is performed against a specific opposing force generated by resistance. This is often done so by being pushed, squeezed, and bent. People will be assigned by Hell to distract, delay, discourage and derail your assignment. No pain, no gain. There are people who want to bring you down, because it makes them feel better about themselves. They will try to push your limits, squeeze your potential and bend you out of shape.
Let me make two observations about haters. First, most them haven't accomplished anything. Deep down they know this, and they lash out to hide their insecurities. Secondly, a few of these haters have accomplished much in life, yet they hate on your acts of service and devotion. Why? Secretly they, like Peninnah, have discerned your potential, as a Hannah, to out produces, perform and punctuate them. They are genuinely threatened by your “power to become”. They fill the forums of the internet today like they filled the forum in old Rome. They yearn to see you meet your demise. There’s nothing news worthy about your life yet. Just real relationship and they are petrified.
Cain hated Abel. Ishmael hated Isaac. Saul hated David. Esau hated Jacob. Pharaoh hated Moses. The Jews hated Jesus. Where would we be without haters? Haters help to reveal God’s purpose. Jesus said, “Blessed are you when men hate you… Rejoice and leap for joy!” It is promotion time! When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against them. Sit thou here until I make your enemies your footstool. A footstool is use to stand on so you can reach another level. Thank God for your haters! They are your elevators!
Father, I thank you for the assignment on my life. Teach me the secret of ascension. When people come against me lift me up where I belong. In Jesus Name, Amen.
