Some people might be facing some difficulty during this holiday season as they might not have family to go see and be with. But it does not have to be a totally negative situation. There are some things we can do to help those who we know might not have family to be around. We can help them with taking care of some responsibilities they face on a regular basis. We can chip in here and there with regard to their finances. We can invite them to some "family gatherings" of our own. We can simply be a listening ear for them when they just need to pour their hearts out. But one of the most important things we can do for people who are facing difficulty not only during the holiday season, but also any other time, is to pray for them. Ephesians 6:18 says, "Praying always with all prayers and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints..." So let's help and pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ, and even those who might not know the Lord for themselves. By our love and compassion, we might just very well be able to lead someone to Christ. Happy holidays everyone.
