Check out Ezekiel 47:1-12...
Ezekiel had a vision of a river that issued out from the altar in the house of God. A man that had a measuring line brought him through the river to the point of 1,000 cubits (at the ankles, which represents getting acquainted with who God is), then to the point of 2,000 cubits (at the knees, which represents a prayer life), then to the point of 3,000 cubits (at the waist line, which represents God purging bad things out of you and you might get shaken up every now and then as you try to keep your footing), and finally to the point of 4,000 cubits (Ezekiel was in over his head and had to swim, which represents us letting God take full control over our lives). Whatever this river touched was healed. The river represents the Holy Ghost. If we've been impacted by the Holy Ghost, who are we encouraging and bringing comfort to as we let God use us? Are we swimming in the Holy Ghost, or are we sinking in the things of this world? Don't be afraid to go deeper in God. Don't worry; God's got you! He won't let you drown!
